Median Home Price in Amesbury, MA Increases 9% August 2013

The median price of a single-family home in Amesbury, Massachusetts increased 9.49 percent in August 2013, according to data provided by The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. 

The median price in August increased to $300,000 from $274,000 in August 2012. From January through August, the median price of a single-family home in Amesbury, MA increased 17.47 percent to $297,500 from $253,250 during the same eight-month period in 2012.

Haverhill, MA Median Home Prices Soar July 2013

The median price of a single-family home in Haverhill, Massachusetts jumped nearly 32 percent in July compared July 2012, according to data tracked by The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. 

The median price for a single-family home in Haverhill, MA in July stood at $259,000, an increase from $196,500. During the first seven months of 2013, the median price increased 17.59 percent compared to the same period in 2012. Through July, the median price stood at $254,000 compared to $216,000 for a single-family home during the same seven-month period in 2012. 

Home sales in Haverhill increased 12 percent in July to 37 sales, up from 33 home sales in July 2012. Similar to other cities and towns around Massachusetts, tight inventory has put a cap on home sales in Haverhill. Through July, homes sales declined 1.54 percent compared to the first seven months of 2012. There were 195 single-family home sales January through July in 2012 and 192 sales during the same period this year.

Sharon, MA Home Sales Increase 25 Percent July 2013

Acton, MA Condo Prices and Sales Soar in July 2013

The median price of a condo in Acton, Massachusetts increased nearly 19 percent in July to $264,000 from $222,000 in July 2012, according to data provided by The Warren Group

Through the first seven months of 2013, the median price of a condominium in Acton increased nearly 65 percent from $222,000 last January through July to $366,300 this year.

Lexington, MA Home Sales Decline, Median Price Jumps June 2013

The number of single-family homes sold in Lexington, Massachusetts in June 2013 declined 29 percent to 51 sales from 72 homes sold in June 2012, the Lexington Patch reported July 25, 2013, but home prices increased.  

Through the first six months of 2013 198 single-family homes sold in Lexington, down from 204 homes sold in the first half of 2012. The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman, tracked the data.

Single-family home prices in Wilmington, Massachusetts increased more than 16 percent in March to $377,629 compared to March 2012, the WilmingtonPatch reported May 6, 2013. 

Wilmington, MA had 18 single-family homes sold in March, the same total that sold in March 2012. In the first quarter, 45 single-family homes sold in Wilmington, down from 46 during the same time period in 2012.

Westwood, MA Home Prices Decline March 2013

The median price of a single-family home in Westwood, Massachusetts declined 19 percent in March compared to March 2012, the WestwoodPatch reported April 24, 2013. 

The median home price in Westwood declined from $480,000 in March 2012 to $390,000 in March 2013. The median price declined just 2 percent in the first quarter to $484,000 from $494,000 in Q1 2012.
