Sale price growth for single-family homes has slowed across Massachusetts over the last six months, but the median house price has increased in most cities and towns. On the other hand, the following nine cities and towns have seen single-family home prices decrease so far in 2023, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.

Closed home sales in Wilmington, Massachusetts were 12.3 percent higher in 2016 than they were in 2015, according to data compiled by the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR). There were 247 closed sales during 2016, up from 220 the previous year. The median sales price for single-family homes was 0.5 percent higher in 2016.

Although the median price of a single-family home in Wilmington, Massachusetts increased through October, tight inventory kept home sales essentially flat during that time frame, according to data obtained from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.

While the median sales price of all properties in Wilmington, Massachusetts skyrocketed 123.4 percent from April 2013 to April 2014, the inventory of homes dropped 36.7 percent during that same period, according to data compiled by the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
The median price of a single-family home in April was $407,700, up from $366,000 in April 2013. Single-family property prices in Wilmington, MA increased 9.1 percent over the first four months of the year compared to the same period in April 2013. Through April 2014, the median price of a single-family home was $371,000. Through the first four months of 2013, the median price of a single-family property was $340,000.

Single-family home prices in Wilmington, Massachusetts increased more than 16 percent in March to $377,629 compared to March 2012, the WilmingtonPatch reported May 6, 2013.
Wilmington, MA had 18 single-family homes sold in March, the same total that sold in March 2012. In the first quarter, 45 single-family homes sold in Wilmington, down from 46 during the same time period in 2012.
