Haverhill, MA October 11, 2016 – In a case that has vividly demonstrated that even sophisticated consumers often do not understand that their rights are reduced when they submit themselves to dual agency representation, the California Supreme Court heard oral arguments on September 7, 2016 regarding the case of a multimillionaire homebuyer who sued the listing agent and listing brokerage, which was acting as a dual agent, after purchasing a $12.25 million home in Los Angeles in 2007.
