# Massachusetts Home Buyer Guide

![Tewksbury, MA Real Estate Market Report](https://info.buyersbrokersonly.com/hs-fs/file-237000350-jpg/images/home_coins_rising.jpg?width=220&height=154&name=home_coins_rising.jpg)The median price for a single-family home in Tewksbury, Massachusetts through the first eight months of 2013 increased 6.29 percent compared to the same period in 2012, according to data provided by MLS Property Information Network Inc.

The median home price through August 2013 was $321,000, compared to $302,000 from January through August 2012. Tewksbury, MA single-family homes sold in 2013 showed a wide price range, with the cheapest sold at $88,000 and the most expensive at $700,000.

Single-family home sales through August 2013 totaled 174, two less than the same time period in 2012; however, the average number of days on market in 2013 were 35.9 percent less than in 2012. From January to August, 2012, a single-family home was on the market for an average of 117 days. Through the same eight-month period in 2013, homes have been on the market for an average of just 75 days.

The median price of a condo in Tewksbury was $229,000 through August 2013, up 2.9 percent from $222,500 from January through August last year. The most expensive condo sold this year through August was $409,000. 

There have been 87 total condos sold from January through August, 2013 in Tewksbury, an increase of three units from the 84 sold through the same period in 2012. Of the 87 condos sold in 2013, 39, or 44.8 percent, have been sold within the price range of $200,000-$249,000.
