The median price of a single-family home in Tewksbury, Massachusetts increased nearly 25 percent to $304,000 in March 2013 compared to March 2012, the TewksburyPatch reported May 6, 2013.

Single-family home sales in Tewksbury were flat in March 2013. Twenty single-family homes sold, the same as March 2012. There were 46 homes sold in the first quarter, down 2 percent from the same period last year. 

Massachusetts single-family home sales declined 3.6 percent to 3,100 in March, down from 3,215 in March 2012. March marked the second consecutive monthly decrease.  The median price for single-family homes sold in March statewide increased more than 8 percent to $285,000 from $263,000 a year earlier. It was the sixth consecutive month that monthly home prices have increased year-over-year.
