Plymouth, MA Real Estate: 8 Stats Homebuyers Should Know

The median price of a single-family home in Plymouth, Massachusetts increased in October 2015, and homes sales also rose, according to data compiled by the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. Condominium sales increased in October, but the median condo price declined. The following are eight statistics homebuyers should know about the Plymouth real estate market. 

  1. The median home price in Plymouth was $326,000 from January through October. 

  2. There were 611 single-family homes sold during the first ten months of 2015. 

  3. Homebuyers paid on average 95.2 percent of the original list price for single-family houses through October. 

  4. Single family months supply of inventory decreased 24.7 percent, but there was still 5.5 months of supply in October 2015. 

  5. The median condo price in October 2015 declined 15.5 percent to $220,000. 

  6. Through October condominium prices decreased 16.5 percent to $241,000. 

  7. There were 179 condo units sold during the first ten months of 2015. 

  8. Plymouth condo buyers paid on average through October 94.5 percent of the original list price.
