The Bay State's neighbor to the north saw strong home sales in June. 

Sales in New Hampshire weren't just strong, but [home buyers](https://www.buyersbrokersonly.com/buying/nh_housing_program) made June the strongest since 2005. June residential sales jumped to 1,586, the most in the Granite State since 2005 and a 7 percent increase over June 2013, according to the [New Hampshire Business Review](http://www.nhbr.com/August-8-2014/June-NH-home-sales-surpass-2005-record/).

The median price increased 2 percent and rose to $240,000. The New Hampshire Association of Realtors compiled the data. 

Second quarter residential sales declined 1 percent compared to the second quarter of 2013, with 3,885 homes sold compared to 3,939 in Q2 2013. The second quarter median price increased $230,471, a 5 percent increase over the same period in 2013.

New Hampshire residential inventory improved, with more than 3,000 new listings hitting the real estate market in June, a 13 percent increase compared to June 2013. With months of supply at 11.2 months in June, [NH home buyers have plenty of inventory to choose from](http://mls.buyersbrokersonly.com/idx/results/listings?idxID=a027&pt=1&lp=250000&hp=600000&bd=3&a_propSubType[]=Condo&a_propSubType[]=Mfg%2FMobile&a_propSubType[]=Residential&ccz=county&county[]=96&per=50&srt=pra) compared to Massachusetts home buyers.
