In December 2013, the median price of a single-family home in New Hampshire climbed 9.5 percent compared to the median price in December 2012. The median price was $208,000, an increase from $189,900 the same month in 2012. Throughout the entire year, the median price increased 9.1 percent compared to median home prices in 2012. The median price stood at $210,000 in 2013 compared to $192,500 statewide for a single-family home in 2012.
Single-family home sales in New Hampshire increased 4.3 percent in December to 1,142 sales, up from 1,095 home sales in December 2012. Homes sales increased 10 percent in 2013 compared to 2012. There were 13,814 single-family home sales in 2012 and 15,206 homes sold during 2013.
The median price of a condominium in December rose 8.8 percent from $147,000 in 2012 to $160,000 in December 2013. Throughout 2013, the median condo price increased 7.3 percent to $160,950, up from $149,980 the year before.
Condo sales in New Hampshire jumped 14 percent in December 2013. There were 243 closed condo sales, compared to 213 condos sold in 2012. In 2013, there were 3,529 condo sales in New Hampshire, a 17.4 increase from 3,006 sales in 2012.
